Terms of Service

Last Updated: January 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using MediGhor, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use MediGhor. These Terms constitute a binding agreement between you and MediGhor Health Tech.

2. Description of Service

MediGhor is a personal health management platform. The app enables you to:

  • Store and organise medical records using our 3-layer categorisation system
  • Search for and connect with verified healthcare professionals across Bangladesh
  • Track personal health metrics and receive AI-generated health insights
  • Participate in our gems and rewards programme for healthy habits
  • Manage health profiles for family members with their informed consent

3. ⚠️ Medical Disclaimer

IMPORTANT — PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. MediGhor is a health record management and doctor-discovery platform. It is NOT:

  • A licensed medical device, hospital, clinic, or telemedicine service
  • A substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
  • Able to evaluate, interpret, or assess your medical condition
  • Responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or currency of health tips or AI suggestions
  • Liable for health outcomes resulting from reliance on any information or suggestion provided through the app

4. Not for Medical Emergencies

🚨 MediGhor is NOT an emergency service. Do NOT use MediGhor to seek help in a medical emergency. If you or someone near you is experiencing a medical emergency — such as chest pain, difficulty breathing, loss of consciousness, or severe bleeding — call Bangladesh National Emergency Services immediately: 999 (Police/Fire/Ambulance) or your nearest hospital emergency department. MediGhor assumes no liability for delays in emergency care caused by use of this app.

5. User Responsibilities

By using MediGhor, you agree to: (1) provide accurate, current, and truthful information in your account and health profile; (2) keep your login credentials strictly confidential and notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access; (3) not share your account with others or use another person's account without authorisation; (4) use MediGhor solely for lawful personal health management purposes and not for any commercial, fraudulent, or harmful activity; (5) not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, tamper with, or exploit the application or its security measures.

6. Medical Record Storage and Sharing

You retain full ownership and copyright of all medical records you upload to MediGhor. By uploading records, you grant MediGhor a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process, and display that data solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. When you share a record with a healthcare provider using the in-app QR code or share feature, you take sole responsibility for that decision. MediGhor facilitates the sharing mechanism but does not review, validate, or take responsibility for the medical content of your documents.

7. Intellectual Property

All software, source code, algorithms, design, branding, logos, text, graphics, and other content in MediGhor are the exclusive property of MediGhor Health Tech and are protected under the Copyright Act of Bangladesh and applicable international intellectual property law. You are granted a limited, non-transferable licence to use MediGhor for personal purposes only. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, publicly display, or create derivative works from any part of MediGhor without prior written permission from MediGhor Health Tech.

8. Limitation of Liability

MediGhor is a free, non-commercial health companion platform provided as-is and as-available, without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, MediGhor Health Tech, its directors, officers, employees, agents, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to adverse medical outcomes, reliance on AI suggestions or doctor profiles, loss of data, loss of opportunity, or personal injury — arising from your use of, or inability to use, MediGhor. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or suitability of any content, doctor information, health tips, or AI-generated suggestions within the app. In jurisdictions that do not permit full exclusion of liability, our liability shall be limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent or abusive activity, upload content that violates applicable law, or if we are required to do so by law. You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Account → Delete Account. Upon termination for any reason, your right to use MediGhor ceases immediately, and we will delete your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes in the law, our services, or our business practices. We will notify you of material changes through an in-app notice or by email at least 7 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of MediGhor after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree with the revised Terms, you must stop using MediGhor and may delete your account.

11. Eligibility

By creating a MediGhor account, you confirm that: (a) you are at least 16 years of age; (b) if you are aged 16-17, you have obtained verifiable consent from a parent or legal guardian to use this service and agree to these Terms on your behalf; (c) you have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements under the laws of Bangladesh; and (d) you are not prohibited from using MediGhor under any applicable law. If you use MediGhor to manage health records for a family member, you confirm you have that person's informed consent.
